Our History

Premier Modular was established in 1956 and has grown over the last six decades to become one of the UK’s leading offsite construction and modular building specialists. We provide high quality building solutions for both temporary and permanent applications across the public and private sectors for healthcare, education, defence, commercial, infrastructure, construction and residential markets.

1980s Transline group sold to AAF Industries plc

1990s Business traded as two separate entities Permanent and Temporary both merged under Premier Transline Building Limited.

2000 Moved to East Yorkshire 7,000 M2 with state of the art technology
2004 Waco UK acquired Interlink Building Systems
2007 Various large Iconic temporary projects were completed in London’s Canary Wharf
2009 Completed largest temporary project at Westfield Shopping Centre

2010 Littlehey Prison completed winning BREEAM Excellence
2011 Britspace and Gateway Pods.
2012 Sold the cabin fleet to focus on Modular Temporary and Permanent
2013 Roundhay Primary school completed, with 1800 pupils and students including a Sixth Form of over 400 (the largest in Leeds).
2015 First Housing project completed in Hull
2015 Rebranded as Premier Modular Limited
2016 60 years anniversary in September 2016
2017 Awarded UK’s largest Modular contract at Hinckley Point C at £50m.
