The Peninsula is a joint venture with developers Grosvenor, and The Hong Kong and Shanghai Hotels to deliver the development at 1-5 Grosvenor Place, Hyde Park Corner in Central London.
Due to Premier’s strong safety and quality track record, combined with their proven inner city installation experience, they were appointed to supply 28 modular bays over four storeys in a highly visible city centre location to be used as office and welfare facilities whilst the demolition of all existing buildings and comprehensive redevelopment work was being carried out. The majority of the building was manufactured in Premier's factory before being erected and completed on site within one week, causing minimum disruption to the ongoing development and surrounding area.
The Peninsula scheme will provide a new building for a hotel comprising up to 190 guest rooms, restaurants/bars, ballroom, function rooms, hotel leisure/spa facilities plus ancillary and back of house spaces (Class C1), 24-28 residential dwellings including ancillary residential leisure and amenity facilities (Class C3) and retail (A1), car and cycle parking with access from Grosvenor Crescent and Halkin Street. Also included are refuse, delivery and circulation spaces within basements and other associated works.
