Finance Apprentice

The Opportunity:

As a Finance Apprentice, you will work alongside our experienced finance professionals, gaining valuable hands-on experience and training in a fast-paced environment. This apprenticeship offers the perfect opportunity for someone eager to start their career in finance, providing support across a variety of finance functions while studying towards a professional finance qualification.

What we’re looking for:

· A strong interest in finance and desire to pursue a career in the field

· Excellent numeracy skills with a keen attention to detail

· Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

· A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

· Good communication skills, both written and verbal

· A minimum of GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above)

· No prior experience necessary, but a passion for finance and a willingness to learn is essential

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist with day-to-day finance operations, including invoicing, payments, and expenses

· Help in maintaining accurate financial records and updating ledgers

· Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and reports

· Process purchase orders and invoices

· Participate in bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow management

· Provide administrative support to the finance team

· Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth financial processes
