The Premier Modular team was thrilled to be able to contribute to this year’s DIY SOS BBC Children in Need Special. This is supporting St Michael’s Youth project in Hull and will create a purpose-designed adventure camping site to give children who have little or no access to outdoor space, the opportunity to enjoy much needed breaks away and time with nature.

Premier has supported the project with the provision of project offices and staff facilities during the build.

The new adventure site will have some fantastic facilities, including:

• A field kitchen to teach cooking and to cook
• A landscaped campfire and pizza oven
• An exterior covered classroom
• A circular mountain bike course
• A bird watching tower and adventure playground
• A toilet/shower block
• A storage unit for tents and bikes.

Following the building installation, two of our team visited the site to see the progress – which is astonishing. The programme will be aired in November.
