BRIEF

Building a luxury new hotel in the heart of London, the group behind The Peninsula needed temporary accommodation to house its workforce whilst demolition of all existing buildings and comprehensive redevelopment work was carried out.Â

The CHALLENGES

With redevelopment works imminent, a quick turnaround time was essential so demolition could begin as soon as possible
Situated in bustling London location, fit out needed to be incredibly efficient to ensure minimum disruption
With ground space limited, a gantry installation was required, as was the ability to build upwards.

The solution

With space at a premium, the busy inner-city location at Hyde Park Corner needed a creative approach. Our four-storey gantry installation allowed us to maximise space available, whilst minimising impact on the surrounding area.
Constructed in our offsite facilities, the building was transported to site and completed within one week, allowing groundworks to continue as usual.

RESULTS

Our gantry installation and multi-storey capabilities offered more space for a modern and comfortable office, complete with a boardroom and welfare facilities to keep staff on this prestigious development engaged.

The high-quality fit out ensured staff had a bright and stimulating workplace environment, which overlooked the busy London location.
