• As an active school site, pupil safety was paramount.
• To minimise disruption, we worked closely with school leaders to ensure our programme of works fit with term times.
• Our temporary classrooms needed to reflect the quality learning space of the new school to keep children and parents engaged.
Three temporary teaching blocks, comprising a total of five classrooms were arranged on site to allow easy access for pupils, whose safety was paramount during new building works. A mix of 12.2m and 9.6m modules created a spacious learning environment, alongside stores, cloakrooms and toilets. Disabled access and toilet facilities were also provided.
Installed on site within a week, the facility was in use by pupils within a few days of completion
Our solutions were the perfect fit for these temporary classrooms, configured in line with the school’s needs to create a welcoming space for pupils.
Both children and teachers settled in to the new classrooms with minimum disruption, so learning continued as normal whilst their new school was being built.
