Admin Apprentice

01/07/25 Permanent Space Location: Brandesburton Reports to: Permanent Space Divisional Director

The Role:

To provide administration support to the wider Perm function supporting each department with specific departmental admin support.

Experience, Qualifications & Training:

  • Willingness to complete level 3 business administration apprenticeship
  • Maths & English GCSE above C/7.
  • Strong Microsoft skills – Word & Excel.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Administration support for sales, commercial, design, estimating and operations department
  • Record keeping, storing of files, contract and document control & reconciliation
  • Diary management
  • First point of contact for some clients via telephone – customer service skills and telephone confidence required.
  • Support purchase order raising
  • Creating files for new projects
  • Tracking holidays, expenses and any additional ad hoc requirements
  • Assist in collating audit information and working with other departments to ask for required information.
  • Update excel files such as training matrixes, and logging of hours vs Jobs.
  • Attend meetings and take minutes/notes.
  • Any other ad hoc additional administration task requested by divisional director
