The Hire Division of Premier Interlink were appointed to deliver additional modular buildings for the London 2012 Olympic Games within very tough timelines.

The Hire Division of Premier Interlink were appointed to deliver additional modular buildings for the London 2012 Olympic Games within very tough timelines.

As a result of the last minute requirement for additional security, the UK armed forces were drafted in to support the games and as a result, there was an inadequate provision of Welfare & Restrooms within the Olympics Park.

LOCOG (London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games) came directly to Premier Interlink to provide a quick turnaround solution.

 

Premier Interlink were selected due to the fact that they were able to deliver against a very tight timeline and expectations where others were not.  There were approximately 4,000 military personnel drafted into the Games and Premier Interlink is proud to have provided the additional accommodation required.

 

All the buildings were supplied using the Interlink Building System Range and to emphasise the tight timelines the team were up against, the last installation was carried out overnight the day before the Opening Ceremony on Friday, 27th July.
