Premier Modular Limited were chosen to provide a new two storey Health and Social Care Centre in conjunction with a main contractor. The client Richmond and Twickenham NHS Primary Care Trust picked Premier due to our past healthcare experience and our collaborative design approach.
The new Care Centre covers 1,471m² and contains a mix of office accommodation for the Social Services department, clinical space for a dental practice and a reception area, this meant that HTM standards had to be adhered to in parts of the building.
The exterior finish of the building was a combination of coloured Kingspan ribbed panels, brick slip and render, with powder coated entrance canopy and brise soleil’s adding attractive features to the building. A contrasting bright orange feature entrance adds a warm, welcoming and modern feel.
Richmond and Twickenham Primary Care Trust commissioned a post-construction stage NEAT Assessment of the completed Teddington Memorial Hospital in accordance with the NEAT (NHS Environmental Assessment Tool) methodology. Based on this, the development achieved a postconstruction stage NEAT rating of ‘excellent’.
