Over the past 5 years, my roles have involved introducing housing associations to the modular housing concept, explaining key benefits such as meeting crucial deadlines, reducing site time & cost benefits of modular V traditional housing. 

My decision to join Waco in 2013 was a simple one to make based on agreeing I would develop the new offsite housing product with mutual determination to ensure the product is recognised as a market leading housing solution.

My role involves evaluating design ideas, cost options & value engineering to provide the best value for money design & provide costs that are competitive with that of traditional.

In November 2014 we launched our solution with 3 open days held at our factory which enabled me to liaise with potential clients & demonstrate the major benefits of the Waco system.

These open days were very successful & major interest in our new product was exceptionally well received.

I am certain that the pledges of our new Government will ensure an increased budget for affordable housing. Without doubt, modular & in particular Waco are in a strong position to take advantage of these opportunities.

We are currently talking to numerous clients about modular housing schemes & are currently building our first 5 modular houses for a client in Hull.  In my opinion the start of things to come as the answer to the UK’s housing crisis is that of modular housing, providing low cost, high volume housing that can incorporate flexible design, varying internal floor layouts & dimensions which will be delivered to site beautifully decorated.

With my own personal experience & determination I have made it my goal to ensure Waco become the market leader in modular housing.
