My name is Ellie and I was born in Africa.
Since a very early age I always wanted to make a difference, so when I had the opportunity to fund raise for the Friends of Child Protection http://friendsofchildprotection.org.za/ little did I know this would lead to me achieving my other dream of travelling the world!
Already a sponsor for the Children’s Foundations – Smile and CHOC http://www.choc.org/giving/, the Waco International Group in South Africa paid a donation to the Friends of Child Protection and showed me the names of all the companies in the Group. Knowing that one of these companies, Premier Modular Limited, was celebrating their 60th anniversary, the CEO Stephen Goodburn brought me here to the UK on the first leg of what I hope will be one of many journeys around the world. Thank you for looking after me Stephen.
Before starting my promotional work for Premier’s 60 year celebrations I made friends with two colleagues, Karen Lyon and Christine Lamont and they took me for a relaxing trip to the Hazelwood Castle Hotel and Spa http://www.hazlewood-castle.co.uk/. During this visit I enjoyed spending time in their beautiful gardens and woodland area. We then visited a Tulip Festival at Burnby Hall http://www.burnbyhallgardens.com/ and had a great time.
So I don’t get lost on my travels I am getting some lovely embroidery done so I can be returned if I venture too far from home. I hope to be able to send you pictures very soon and then I will be ready for my next adventure. http://workwear.needlers.co.uk/
Please help me realise my dream. I don’t need a passport, just someone kind enough to let me join them on their holidays, business trips or places of interest and to update my blog page (because I can’t write!!). Claire Adamson and Karen Lyon are looking after my schedule so ……here’s to some fun times ahead…..
